Security is feature #1 at Lithora. Your data is protected with enterprise-grade security.

Team Roles & Permissions

Lithora uses a role-based access control system to manage team permissions:

Owner

Full control over the team including billing, member management, and all administrative settings.

Admin

Can manage members, projects, and team settings. Cannot access billing or transfer ownership.

Member

Can create and manage tasks, access projects, and collaborate with the team.

Protecting Your Account

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): We strongly recommend enabling 2FA in your user settings. We support Authenticator apps (Google Auth, Authy).
  • Google SSO: For convenience and security, use "Sign in with Google" to rely on Google's protection.
  • Session Management: View and revoke active sessions from Settings → Security.

Data Privacy

  • Workspace Isolation: Data in one workspace is completely invisible to users in other workspaces.
  • Encryption: All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
  • No Employee Access: Lithora employees cannot access your workspace data unless you grant explicit temporary permission for support.

Audit Logging

Enterprise teams have access to comprehensive audit logs that track:

  • • Member invitations and removals

  • • AI actions executed
  • • File uploads and downloads
  • • Integration connections

Enterprise Security

Enterprise plans include SAML SSO, advanced audit logs, custom data retention policies, and dedicated security support.

AI Privacy

  • Context Control: AI only sees items you explicitly link in the AI Workspace. Your other data is never shared with AI.
  • No Training: Your data is never used to train AI models.
  • Audit Trail: All AI actions are logged for transparency.

Infrastructure Security

  • Cloud Provider: Hosted on AWS with enterprise-grade infrastructure.
  • Data Centers: Multi-region deployment with automatic failover.
  • Backups: Automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery.
  • Uptime SLA: 99.9% uptime for Pro, 99.99% for Enterprise.
