Workspaces

A Workspace is an isolated environment for your entire organization or a distinct product line.

Isolation Model

Data does not leak between workspaces.

  • Users: A user must be invited to each workspace separately.
  • Billing: Each workspace has its own subscription plan.
  • Search: Global search only queries the current active workspace.

When to create a new Workspace?

✓ Do create a new workspace if:

  • • You are managing a completely separate company.
  • • You are an agency managing a client's data (and they pay for it).
  • • You want strict data residency separation.

✗ Do NOT create a new workspace if:

  • • You just want a new team (use Teams instead).
  • • You want to separate "Marketing" from "Engineering" (use Teams and Projects).

Workspace Settings

Workspace Admins can configure:

  • Custom Domain: Set up company.lithora.io.
  • SSO enforcement: Require Google/GitHub login.
  • Data Export: Download full JSON dump of all workspace data.
